Cats that are 2 to 3 months old may get rabies. Although the probability of our domestic cats getting rabies in the first three months after birth is relatively low, it does not mean that they will not get it at all, so we pet owners should still be careful. During this period, we pet owners must not take them out to come into contact with animals that may be infected or carry rabies virus.
However, we pet owners need to pay attention to the fact that the incubation period of rabies is relatively long. Generally, It will take several months to several years, so normally, we still cannot take it lightly. Once a cat at home becomes aggressive, hydrophobic, etc., our pet owners should contact the veterinarian immediately for testing.
