The white worms in dog eyes actually refer to conjunctival sucking nematodes, which are parasites that usually live in the conjunctival sac and nictitating membrane of dogs. This condition is called canine eye worm disease, also known as conjunctival sucking nematode disease. Symptoms include photophobia, watery eyes, conjunctivitis, and varying degrees of corneal opacification and ulceration.
You can use special eye drops, such as 5% levopyrimidine hydrochloride injection. Before use, first use a sterile cotton swab or cotton ball to gently wipe the worms in the eyes, then gently rub with saline and rinse repeatedly, finally dry with a clean cotton cloth, and apply erythromycin eye ointment.
