The Guangxi native hound is a medium-sized dog breed. Their weight can generally grow to between 10-25 kilograms. Relatively speaking, the weight of adult dogs will be larger, usually between 25-35 kilograms.

The Guangxi native hound is an excellent domestic hound breed originating from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China. Guangxi native hunting dogs are mainly widely distributed in the core production areas of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Of course, they are also found in the surrounding Hunan, Guizhou, and Guangdong regions. In fact, their body shape is basically the same as that of the local native hunting dogs in several surrounding provinces. Because they are a local breed, they are relatively less affected by foreign breeds. Coupled with the high mountains and dense forests around it, this variety is the most preserved in Guangxi.
