Horses crabs will not attack humans. The horseshoe crab is a warm-water benthic arthropod that mainly inhabits sandy shallow sea areas with water depths of 20 to 60 meters. It likes to live in submerged sand burrows with only its sword tail exposed. They feed on small seafloor animals and molluscs, have no teeth, and cannot bite.
Although the blue blood of horseshoe crabs contains heavy metal organic copper and some special substances, which may have some effects on the human body, this does not mean Horseshoe crabs will actively attack humans. Under normal circumstances, horseshoe crabs are safe for humans. However, due to its special biological properties and value, horseshoe crabs play an important role in medicine and scientific research, such as for the detection of bacterial toxins.
Please note that although horseshoe crabs do not attack humans, you still need to be careful when touching or handling horseshoe crabs to avoid being stung by them or coming into contact with their body fluids to prevent allergic reactions or other discomforts.
