Horses crabs will not die immediately when they leave the water. The horseshoe crab is a national second-level protected animal. It belongs to the marine arthropods of the order Xiphophora of the order Limulus. It is shaped like a crab and has a greenish-brown or dark brown body. After the horseshoe crab leaves the water, because its body surface can remain moist, it will not die immediately due to lack of water, and its survival time can reach 10 to 15 days.

However, after the horseshoe crab leaves the water, it has very high requirements on environmental temperature, humidity, air flow, etc. If the temperature is too low, the humidity is too low, or the air movement is too small, the horseshoe crab's ability to survive will be greatly reduced.
