It is not recommended to let cats come into contact with the ground mopped by 84 disinfectant, because the main component of 84 disinfectant is sodium hypochlorite. The smell of hypochlorous acid produced by hydrolysis will stimulate the cat's brain nerves and produce a smell similar to catnip or mulberry. The stimulating effect may cause the cat to roll around on the floor, and may also cause the cat to vomit.
If the floor has been mopped with 84 disinfectant, it is recommended that the owner put the cat in another room first , maintain ventilation for more than 6 hours, and wait until the ground is completely dry before letting the cat enter.
