When the editor read through the comments section of this article, I found that there were a lot of complaints about Pidan cat litter products, and most of them complained about the increasingly poor quality of Pidan, especially the increasing dust. obvious.

As we all know, the dust problem has always been the most criticized problem of cat litter. When a cat buries feces, the dust raised can easily cause damage to its respiratory tract. For scavengers, cat litter with large dust is also a problem. It is easy to affect your own respiratory health. Therefore, "no dust" is one of the key selling points of many cat litter products.

The same is true for Pidan.

In the introduction of Pidan's cat litter products, low dust and strong clumping ability are clearly marked. However, according to consumer feedback, not only does the product need to be sieved and exposed to the sun before use to reduce dust, but some users also said after use, "it is ridiculously dusty."

For this reason, we searched social platforms and found “evidence” provided by some consumers.

Currently, Pidan has not given an official reply to questions about product quality.

Not only that, some consumers are also dissatisfied with the attitude of Pidan’s official customer service.

According to Xiaohongshu users, they purchased Pidan cat snack products produced in October last year in July this year. The product, which originally had a one-year shelf life, only had 3 months of validity left as soon as I got it. For the sale of products that are about to expire, the user believes that they should be clearly marked. The customer service reply was "random delivery from the warehouse".

In this regard, the user also browsed the comment section of Pidan snacks, and there were many comments saying that he had bought the product that was about to expire, but Pidan didn't seem to care about this.

They do not pay attention to the management of expired products and randomly ship them with recently produced pet food. If some consumers do not check each one carefully, it is easy for the food to be expired when feeding, eventually causing pet food Impaired health.

Quality control problems amid explosive growth

It is not uncommon for quality control issues to be complained about in the pet industry, and Pidan is not the only case.

The reason is that after the rapid development of domestic pet brands, the customer base has increased significantly, which has affected the originally limited supply chain.

For example, some logistics changes have caused many packaging damage, flatulence and other phenomena for the originally vacuum-packed cat litter. If the cat litter is loosely packed, problems such as particle breakage may occur.

Many consumers said that they stocked cat litter in the live broadcast room of a major anchor, but the vacuum bag leaked after delivery. At the same time, some consumers said that the original SF express from Pidan was replaced by YTO, and the express delivery marked as door-to-door delivery was also refused by the delivery party. Two large boxes of cat litter are difficult for many consumers to carry home. There are more and more doubts about Pidan's replacement of cooperative express delivery. Of course, the brand has not made a public statement on this.

In addition to product quality issues, pet food and medicine issues have become unforgivable mistakes in the minds of many consumers. After all, for pet owners, the health and safety of their pets are the top priority. Once there is a safety hazard, they will not hesitate to find alternatives.

In many cases, unless it involves a large-scale boycott, brands rarely comment on or resolve consumer feedback (especially leading domestic pet brands).

Building a brand is not easy. For a brand that has been developed with great effort, why not cherish every consumer?

What we see is that pet brands are eager to expand. After the success of a single product, many brands will choose to expand their business scope like Pidan, while selectively ignoring the dissatisfaction of some consumers. But for brands, if the products they sell can maintain a high reputation and give consumers positive responses in a timely manner, rather than blurring the focus and delaying time.
