Peony parrots cannot whistle. Due to their physiological structure, peony parrots do not have the ability to vocalize and learn language.

Peony parrots are lively and aggressive. Do not keep them with other species of parrots. It likes to chirp, and the sound is sharp and resonates with the human eardrum. It may be quiet for two or three weeks at first, and then it will become noisy. The calls of head-like and noodle-like animals are a bit different, and the head-like ones are more audible. As an adult, it becomes quieter. Some peony parrots tend to spill their bird food after eating it, and sometimes even half of it is wasted.
