On the morning of August 16, Dan Smith, head of Nestlé Purina Global Business Strategy (GSBU) and R&D Center (R&D), and his delegation visited China Agricultural University Teaching Animal Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "our hospital") comminicate.

Executive Vice President Sun Yanzheng and Vice President Li Gebin of our hospital hosted the reception. After the special lecture, Vice President Li Gebin accompanied Dan Smith and his delegation to visit, and gave a detailed introduction to our hospital’s specialty construction, case composition, talent training, diagnosis and treatment procedures, etc.

The directors and doctors of various departments in our hospital discussed clinical diseases such as feline kidney disease, canine liver disease, and behavioral cognitive disorders in elderly animals; they also put forward constructive reference points on the clinical needs and future trends of pet food and pet supplies. Starting from sharing vivid cases, Associate Professor Zhong Yougang and Dan Smith discussed in depth the subject development and market status of animal obstetrics and breeding science in China. Subsequently, the two parties conducted full exchanges and discussions focusing on pet medical postoperative care, clinical nutrition discipline construction, clinical nutrition diagnosis and treatment plans, the industry status and future development trends of pet food and pet supplies, and animal welfare.
