Today I will share a case report of my ISVPS case examination
The International School of Veterinary Continuing Education ISVPS cardiology examination that I registered for in 2021 has passed. Although getting this certificate does not mean that you have become an expert, but This is one of the few internationally recognized certificates in China. The tuition fee is more than 30,000, which is relatively cheap among ISVPS. It is said that it is much cheaper than registering for this course abroad. Passing the exam can be regarded as an explanation for one's two years of study. I created this official account a year ago to urge myself to keep learning.
You can also check the certificate holders on the official website After searching the names, more than 80 people around the world passed the ISVPS cardiology exam this year, and 9 people in China passed the exam. There are more than 40 students in our class this time. Because some students applied for an exam postponement, the passing rate seems to be relatively low. ”
“The electronic version of the certificate looks like this. I don’t know if the paper version is the same. It will take some time to receive it.
The content of the ISVPS course is very detailed and comprehensive. Because of the previous epidemic, I met with the teacher and other students online every month to discuss, and the discussion lasted until very late every time. Without the epidemic, it was usually offline. The way. I would like to thank Teacher Luo Qianyi for helping me translate my questions every time in class, and for providing me with revision suggestions for the case report exam. The exam questions are quite difficult and are divided into written exams and case report exams. The written exam questions are more difficult and the case report requirements are also many. Today I will share my case report exam part. ”
A case of medical treatment of abdominal aortic thromboembolism in cats Case Report
Abstract
Feline arterial thromboembolism is a common clinical symptom in cats with heart disease. The most common cause of arterial thromboembolism in cats is hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. , once arterial thromboembolism occurs, the survival time and quality of life of the affected cats will be seriously affected. Most of the affected cats will die within a week, and a small number of surviving cats may face serious complications. This case is introduced. A 7-year-old female neutered Chinese garden cat mainly presented with dyspnea and bilateral hind limb paralysis. After cardiac ultrasound and X-ray examination, it was diagnosed as congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema and abdominal aortic thromboembolism caused by hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. After diagnosis, diuretics were used to relieve dyspnea, analgesics were given to control pain, and then low-molecular-weight heparin sodium and clopidogrel were used for anticoagulant treatment. After the pulmonary edema was relieved, hyperbaric oxygen therapy was used, and both were administered on the 7th day of treatment. The hind limbs resumed walking, and rivaroxaban was used instead of low-molecular-weight heparin sodium after discharge. The patient's condition has been stable since the follow-up review three months later.
