The difference between hyenas and dogs is as follows:
Different families and genus: hyena is the collective name for animals in the family Hyena of the order Carnivora; Dog is the collective name for canids of the order Carnivora.
The appearance is different: the hyena's head is shorter and rounder than that of a dog, with a big head, a thick skull, a long head and a short snout; large and round ears, a short tail, long front legs, short hind legs, and brown hair. Or tan, with many irregular black and brown spots; the characteristics of the dog's head are different from those of the hyena, and the coat color has no spots.
Different living habits: hyenas live in Africa and southern Asia, mostly growing in tropical or subtropical areas; dogs are distributed all over the world.
