1. Rabies vaccination status
Hamsters are rodents, and there are currently no cases of hamsters transmitting rabies. According to the guidelines of the World Health Organization and the my country Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, rabies vaccination is generally not required after being bitten by a hamster.
Rodents (such as hamsters) are not natural hosts of rabies virus and therefore do not play a role in the epidemiology and transmission of rabies.
