Foxfish has an elongated oval body, extremely flat sides, a small head, a slightly pointed or protruding snout, a small, non-retractable mouth, large and black eyes, and various body colors.
The foxfish is named after the pattern on its face that resembles the head and face of a fox. It belongs to the fish family, with a body length of 15-20cm. Foxfish are distributed in the coral reef waters of the Philippines, Taiwan, and the Pacific Ocean. They usually live in shallow rocky areas. They have a small pointed mouth, large black eyes, and a docile temper.
