For the first time, this technology introduces the connotation of high-performance liquid phase fingerprint into the field of thin-layer identification, replacing expensive HPLC with several cheap thin-layer plates; replacing the gradient flow of high-performance liquid phase with the gradient developer of thin-layer identification Phase; replace the same component peaks presented in the fingerprint with bright and intuitive spot features of different colors for each component.

According to Zhao Lili, one of the main members of the project team, traditional veterinary and Chinese medicine quality control methods have few detection indicators, cumbersome methods, time-consuming and toxic Disadvantages such as the large amount of harmful solvents prevent overall and comprehensive quality control and evaluation of Chinese medicinal materials, resulting in uneven quality of Chinese veterinary drug preparations and seriously affecting the quality and efficacy of Chinese medicines. In order to strictly control the quality of Chinese medicinal materials, this project established a set of simple, fast and efficient thin-layer fingerprint full information identification methods and identification chromatograms of Chinese medicinal materials to conduct overall quality supervision and evaluation of Chinese medicinal materials from different sources, so as to improve the quality of Chinese veterinary drug preparations. With the significant improvement, the treatment effect has also been significantly improved.
